The MindWebs Project 2.0

Live Radio Stream With Michael Hanson

MindWebs was a half hour, weekly radio show, broadcast out of WHA Radio in Madison Wisconsin from 1976 to 1984. The shows format and subject were, as the shows creator and narrator Michael Hanson would say Short Stories from the Worlds of Speculative Fiction and featured dramatic, enhanced, readings, of stories from some of the genres best writers, including.Arthur C Clarke, Ursula K Le Guin, Philip K Dick, Ray Bradbury, and many more.

Mr. Hanson states that there were 169 shows which presented 188 stories from 135 authors. The bad news is that currently, there are only 154 shows available to the Public Domain, and while many are in good condition, a portion of them are of poor quality.

The MindWebs Project 2.0 is using open source platforms such as Winamp, Audacity, and StreamRipper, to collect and save these Remixed and Remastered Treasures and Broadcast them in our Live Radio Stream. We apply a max gain of 89 db to all files for uniform volume.
